EWH-Yemen University of Science and Technology Chapter

Yemen is one of the poorest countries around the world. The total expenditure on health per capita was reported by WHO as the lowest in Yemen. The Yemeni people need to find suitable health care better than what is currently available in hospitals. For these reasons we decided to launch the Yemen EWH chapter with the motivation of Engineering World Health.



The EWH mission is to improve the quality of health care in vulnerable communities. This mission is what Yemeni people need.



We hope to learn from other chapters’ experience to raise the health care of Yemeni people.
